Rtn. PHF M.K. Ravindra was born on August 21, 1964, in Chitradurga to the late M.R. Krishnamurthy and the late M.K. Radhamma. He completed his schooling in Chitradurga and pursued civil engineering at the prestigious National Institute of Engineering in Mysuru.

Professionally, Ravi is a civil engineer, valuer, and contractor. He began his career in private construction and consultancy in 1986 and has been an empanelled engineer for over 10 banks since 1988. To date, Ravi has completed more than 1,000 residential and commercial projects in and around Chitradurga. He has received numerous awards for his professional work at both the district and state levels.

Ravi joined the Rotary Club, Chitradurga Fort, in 1994-95 and became an integral part of it. He served as the club president during the Rotary Centenary year 2004-05. He has held various key positions at both the club and district levels, including District Chief Secretary, District Conference Chairman, DLCC, District Pulse Polio Chairman, Governor's Aide for Karnataka clubs, and District Public Image Chairman. He was unanimously elected as District Governor for the year 2025-26 and is also a Level One Major Donor.

Among his many accolades, Ravi has received the Citation for Meritorious Service from the Rotary Foundation and the ‘Avenues of Service’ award from Rotary International.

Ravi has been active in many social & religious organisations & NGO’s. he is Past President of Practicing Architects & civil Engineers association.

He led Vasavi Kshema-abhivruddhi trust, Sanskara Bharathi, Arya Vysya sangha, District Yoga Centre & Rotary Fort Trust.

He is director of Arya Vysya Officials & professional Association, Basveshwara Punarjyothi Eye Bank, Chitradurga branch of Indian Red Cross Society, Chitradurga Fort adventure club.

Ravi is happily married to Rtn. PHF M.R. Veda, and they are blessed with two sons, Balaji and Bharath. Balaji, a mechanical engineer, is settled in the USA with his wife Mrunmayee, a computer science engineer. Their younger son, Bharath, is an advocate practicing before the Hon'ble High Court of Karnataka. Ravi is also proud to have a beautiful granddaughter, Daanya.
